The Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili is the Hawaiian Humane Society’s second location on Oʻahu, and features a 27,000-square-foot shelter that serves the behavioral, medical and socialization needs of more than 10,000 animals each year. PADG designed and consulted with Animal Arts to implement innovative features using shelter best practices, such as soft-close kennels, open-air circulation, and dedicated spaces for animal enrichment and exercise to minimize stress and risk of disease transmission for the animals in care.
